Tennessee Redline (1-800-889-9789)
The Tennessee REDLINE is a toll-free information and referral line coordinated by Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug and other Addiction Services (TAADAS) and funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS). The purpose of the REDLINE is to provide accurate, up-to-date alcohol, drug, problem gambling, and other addiction information and referrals to all citizens of Tennessee at their request. Information is also available online at www.taadas.org.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous supports recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder through a 12-step program including regular attendance at group meetings. There are individual websites for locating meetings in a specific area, which can be found through an internet search under AA and the location name. www.aanashville.org provides meeting lists in communities throughout Middle Tennessee.
Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous supports recovery from Substance Use Disorder through a 12-step program including regular attendance at group meetings. www.natennessee.org includes links to NA websites across Tennessee.
Al-Anon Family Groups and Adult Children of Alcoholics/Addicts
These groups focus on serving the individuals (family and friends) who are affected by someone else’s addiction, through a 12-step program including regular attendance at group meetings. www.al-anon.org and www.adultchildren.org provide links to websites for specific states and communities.
